Congratulations! This is a special time and it is important
that you have a worry free wedding. Valley Events Inc. strived to help you
create an atmosphere where you can enjoy the beginning of a fantastic marriage
with your friends and family at an event of your dreams. 
Our keys to

expectations of our clients. We will be consistent and competitively priced. Valley Events,
Inc. draws from over 10 years experience in the events industry in Colorado as
well as the age-old tradition of going above and beyond what is expected, every
time.
Many people ask,
“Why is there a need for an event planner when you can do the planning
yourself?” We are experts in the “tricks of the trade” to keep costs minimal
and also allowing you to enjoy the process. Not only do we provide a worry free
event, we save you time; time to spend with family and friends.
We will help you
plan your event by providing information about caterers, decorators, disc jockeys,
and all other vendors to fill out the event. We are available at any time you
would like to meet and will be there every step of the way. We are on site
during all aspects from beginning to end and act as a liaison between yourself
and the staff. Again, our goal is assure that you enjoy your day and spend it
with your family and friends, not the caterer or the entertainment. On larger
events, my husband and co-founder will assist on site. I also have a small
staff on call if necessary.
Rates are negotiated on a c
ase by
case basis that reflects the best interest of the client:
1. Flat project
fee - 20% of the total project expenses. A retainer of $500 is paid upon
contract signing and the remainder billed following the event.
2. Flat fee plus
10% handling charge for contracted vendors – The flat fee is negotiated and
then paid up front and the 10% handling charge is billed following the event.
3. Wedding
ceremony and on site services only – Flat fee of $1000 inclusive of the
rehearsal, rehearsal dinner (if needed), ceremony and reception.
*All fees can be
organized on a monthly payment schedule if desired
** Travel – $.80
per mile. I do not charge travel fees unless the ceremony is beyond 60 miles of
Glenwood Springs, CO. If the ceremony is within 100 miles, I will only charge
travel for the rehearsal and ceremony/reception. If your event is more than 100
miles of Glenwood Springs, CO, travel will be negotiated on a individual basis
as part of the contract.
